Giovanni Asole, Bioinformatics Scientist at Flomics, has been awarded the AGAUR Industrial PhD Scholarship for his project titled ‘’Tissue-of-origin deconvolution of the cell-free transcriptome for non-invasive screening of multiple cancer types’’. This achievement underlines both Giovanni’s and Flomics’ dedication to applying cutting-edge bioinformatics methods to better cancer detection. He will be co-supervised by Dr. Julien Lagarde (head of bioinformatics at Flomics) and PI Roderic Guigó (bioinformatics group leader at the CRG/UPF). We are proud to support his academic and scientific journey.
Congratulations, Giovanni!
