RNA is a dynamic molecule. It reflects the cell state at any moment of time, in particular when affected by a disease or condition. We look beyond mutations to detect specific patterns in gene expression related to disease.
State-of-the-art sequencing technology and bioinformatics
We combine years of experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and cutting-edge bioinformatics methods. We apply machine learning models to detect RNA expression patterns associated to complex diseases. We have also developed our own software platform, named Stratus®, designed to help us and others easily analyse NGS data.
The future is in the fluids
Liquid biopsy is a simple and non-invasive alternative to surgical biopsies, that allow the study and detection of complex diseases such as cancer.
Flomics finds and quantifies circulating cell-free RNA in blood plasma, enabling the screening of different types of cancer type from the same sample, at an early stage, when treatment options are more vast and success rates are higher.
